May we all have the best year ever!!!

Void III c.d. update (2)

We just finished another 145 BPM very melodic new track called Solid Ground.
Right now we are working on a new guitar trance track with Ophir, we'll let ya know when its finished.

Void III c.d. update…

We have been working on the Void III c.d. for quite a while now. We are working on about 15-20 tracks and at the end of the year we will decide which one's will go into the c.d.
So far we made:

150 NIS - A 145 BPM filled with emotional melodys and oriental guitars.
The Great Unknown - A halftime beat song, 80's electronic style, featuring the singer Ella Doron.
Play For Keeps - A 145 BPM smasher.
New Day - A 145 BPM trance song with lots of synths and lots of guitars.
Tarzan - We are working on it as we speak.
Confined - A song. Probably will not make it into the c.d. since its a bit far from the style we do. We'll see about him.

As we move along and select some tracks that we are sure will make the c.d. we we'll put some samples up.

Biography

Biography

Israel’s premier electronica based outfit would form in early 2004 as a two man operation. Hailing the name Void, the duo of Tamir Regev and Oren Emanuel collaborated on a project set to shift popular notions of club music. The release of their debut LP album entitled “Punishment” followed. Punishment would achieve critical success in Israel via radio play of hit track Machine. The album was also well received in major markets across the globe including Japan and Brazil. The positive reception of the album made the group’s stock rise, and a worldwide tour ensued.

For their second album Void decided to stay true to their roots. Influenced by rock music from childhood, this was a chance to embark on a CD that would combine their love of electronic music with a new edge. Spooling together electronic vibes with a touch of classic Pink Floyd, their Sophomoric effort “The Angry Brigade” would release as a special two disc set.

The first disc heralded the previous style heard on Punishment, but the second would be an evolution of the groups sound. A departure from mainstream electronic music in Israel, Tamir and Oren found a whole new audience for their music. This unique second disc would later release separately under the name Hero, the headlining track of the album. The success of “The Angry Brigade” resulted in another global tour.

The compilation Music With More Muscle tore up dance floors in early 2007. A group effort between Void and well known electronica artists, like Skazi and Eskimo, it produced what later would become the Megaband anthem 'MTV (Hello Moto)'. The premier track greatly expanded Void's fanbase, thanks to millions of views on Youtube. It's eruption on the popular video site would plant the seeds to the Megaband project. The compilation was heralded as a breakthrough success, and lengthened the band's reach throughout the world.

Now in 2009 Void is ready once again to mature their sound. Adding a new lead guitarist in Ophir, the band has a brand new hook. The vintage dirty guitar riffs of decades past. Taking on lead vocal duties Tamir sees a drought in electronic music’s progression. There’s an opening for a new high-wire act that has flare and attitude. Oren will be handling the unique Keytar Moog Synth, a piece of equipment preserved from the late seventies. Void’s next album aptly named Void III, will take the electronica based rock of the past and apply a fresh modern edge.

Void will be touring as a trio this year under the banner of the “Comes Alive” tour. Expect to hear new tracks off the upcoming CD, the Megaband project, and familiar hits and remixes!
